Purpose
The Liver Patient Reported Outcomes (LPRO) has pioneered research in development and validation of disease specific health related quality of life and other PRO instruments in liver disease. LPRO maintains a number of validated disease specific PRO instruments for different types of liver diseases.
About UsLiver Disease Specific PRO Questionnaires
LPRO has developed and maintains Chronic Liver Disease Questionnaire (CLDQ) and its subtypes. Using standard validation process, CLDQ and its versions for hepatitis B (CLDQ-HBV), hepatitis C (CLDQ-HCV), non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (CLDQ-NASH), Primary Biliary Cholangitis (CLDQ-PBC) and Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (CLD-PSC) have been developed and fully published. by the members of COR-LD. These instruments are being used in a large number of clinical trials and research projects around the world.

Generic PRO Questionnaires
In addition to the CLDQ and its subtypes, a number of generic instruments have been used to assess PROs in patients with liver disease. These instruments and their utilities in assessment of PROs in liver disease depend on the study purpose and design.
